Barbara

Barabara has been with the Allergy Group since 2001, and has been in nursing since 1983. Her extensive background in the medical field, including emergency medicine, makes her a valuable asset to our practice.

Deanna

Deanna’s friendly, energetic personality is a major asset to the Allergy Group.

Deanna began her career as a medical office receptionist in 1983 and was promoted to office manager in 1995. She is experienced in medical records, billing and insurance. She enjoys helping patients understand this sometimes-confusing area.

Donna J.

Donna is a trained medical technician who began working for Dr. Callanan in March of 1978.

She is a medical transcriptionist and is responsible for the ordering and manufacturing of allergy extracts and related supplies. She is a very conscientious, loyal employee who loves her job.

Joseph J. Callanan, M.D.

Dr. Callanan received his M.D. degree from SUNY at Buffalo in 1964, and completed his residency at the University of Oregon. He also completed an allergy fellowship study at the University of Michigan. Dr. Callanan established a private practice in allergy/asthma in Boise in 1971. Since that time, he has also been on active staff at St. Alphonsus and St. Lukes medical centers. He has served in various medical leadership roles at both hospitals as well as the Idaho Medical Association, where he served as president for the 1994-1995 term. Outside the office he is active in civic and business affairs, and also enjoys time with his wife, children, grandchildren and an assortment of pets at his Canyon County home.

Trisha

Trisha has been with the Allergy Group since 2003. She is very knowledgeable in all areas of medical billing, insurance, and scheduling.

She's always willing to help, whatever your need may be.

Donna F.

Donna F. joined The Allergy Group in 2007 as a part-time Medical Assistant.  She began working in the allergy field in 1997 and is a pleasant addition to the practice.
